~Salsa...
Tie! It's the same thing. Salsa is normally very low fat. However, if you live near a Trader Joe's http://www.traderjoes.com/, you should DEFINITELY check our their salsa... unbelievable! So are their chips.
PS! I've had very little input on my bloggy running mix! I'll go ahead and RE-post that! C'mon I know you'll listen to music... don't feel silly, even if you DO have the entire CD from "Hairspray" as a playlist... ummm, not that I have that... I mean.. mmmm-- nevermind. Send in your "pump me up" songs and I'll add it! :)
Black Eyed Peas have always been my favorite to listen to when I need to get moving so my favorite songs right now are Boom Boom Pow and I Gotta Feeling.
ReplyDeleteAnd I love Mexican food, my favorite is Moe's Southwest Grill. Luckily they seem to be pretty healthy with their ingredients and I only go there on long run days.
ReplyDeleteWay to go transforming a fast food favorite into something healthy you can make at home! Double bonus that it'll be a fraction of the cost. (Good thing we don't have Chipotle here...)
ReplyDeleteMusic... right now I love The Killers, Fall Out Boy, Coldplay, Taylor Swift, Sean Kingston, Black Eyed Peas.
I love chipotle myself. There isn't one close to me as there was when I lived in Orlando. (I am in Tampa now, since you asked!)
ReplyDeleteI'll be at Disney this year cheering on some friends so if you do it again let me! I may have to make some signs...
Bike riding is going to be hilarious. Stay tuned...
Great ideas!!
ReplyDeleteAlready posted on the running music.
Wow you have a weekend off from a Marathon...WOW!!
Chipotle definitely can hit the spot, though I was worried a couple weeks ago when I had to work hard to finish my burrito. But when you hit the wall, you break through. Right?
ReplyDeleteChipolte is definitely a weakness of mine too. Some how me and my buddy convinced ourselves it was good pre long run food. Lots of carbs.
ReplyDeleteI dont often listen to music on the run but I do like Tom Pettys Running down a dream and Nickelbacks Rockstar. I will admit when I had a buddy load my MP3 and cartman singing Uncle Fucka came on it was quite inspirational.
I love Chipotle. I get a Burrito Bowl (no tortilla) with: Rice, Fajita Veggies, Salsa and Gauc. It's about 335 cals. I skip the cheese and sour cream. And I add chicken or beans if I need some more protien that day, adding one of them brings it up to 550ish calories.

ReplyDeleteThought you might like that.
Yum, I love Chipotle. I get a burrito bowl with rice, fajita vegetables, carnitas, tomato salsa, corn salsa, and lettuce and it's supposedly only about 450 calories which isn't too bad. It's even better if I save half for later. I also love Trader Joe's peach salsa. It's so amazing that I haven't gotten around to trying any of the other salsas but I'm sure they're all good. Sorry I don't have anything to add about running music. I listen to podcasts when I run.
